Notification of PMC MDCAT 2022 Date
Recently, Pakistan Medical Commission issued a notification on 5 November 2022 about PMC MDCAT 2022 date. According to the PMC notification, MDCAT exam will be held on 13 November 2022 in all provinces of Pakistan on a single day. MDCAT Conducting Universities
PMC announced that MDCAT 2022 will be held in each province by their public medical universities which are mentioned by Pakistan Medical Commission. In Punjab, University of Health Sciences (UHS) will comduct the MDCAT exam on 13 November 2022. On the same day, MDCAT exam will be conducted in KPK by Khyber Medical University (KMU). In Sindh, PMC has choosed Dow University of Health Sciences (DUHS) to take MDCAT exam 2022 from Sindh students.
The Bolan University of Medical and Health Sciences (BUMHS) will organise MDCAT exam in Balochistan on 13 November 2022. While in Islamabad, Gilgit Baltistan and AJK, Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University is going to conduct MDCAT 2022 exam. This year PMC has decided to conduct MDCAT exam all across the country on a single day but though the public medical universities of every province of Pakistan.
It is all upon public medical universities of all provinces that how they want to conduct MDCAT exam. The public medical universities have authority to select the modalities of conducting exam. There is no restriction from PMC side on public medical universities. They can organise and manage themselves to conduct exam or can take MDCAT exam through any testing service.
MDCAT 2022 Exam Type
Contrary to last year, this year, MDCAT exam will be paper pen based manual exam due to some major issues in online system which PMC had to be faced last year. The test will be conducted physically and students will be provided with bubble sheets. Candidates have to fill the bubbles of correct MCQs on response sheet. carbon copy will be given to every student and the exam conducting universities will upload the MCQs key on PMC portal after the test on same day.
MDCAT 2022 Result Date
As carbon copy will be given to each candidate, students can check their MDCAT exam score on the same day after the exam. Officialy, the MDCAT 2022 result will be announced on 20 November 2022 after the 7 days of test by Pakistan Medical Commission. After the result announcement, admission processes will be started.
MDCAT 2022 International Exam Centres
At International level, the exam centres will be established in that countries where more than 100 students will be registered for MDCAT exam. According to it, MDCAT exam will be held in UAE and Saudi Arabia at international level. The students in other countries can take MDCAT in UAE or Saudi Arabia or can come to Pakistan to take MDCAT 2022 exam.
MDCAT 2022 Pass Percentage
After MDCAT result, admission process will be held and students have to apply in different medical and dental universities. Students having minimum 60% FSc marks and 55% MDCAT marks can apply for MBBS as well as in BDS while students having 60% marks in FSc and 45% marks in MDCAT can only apply in BDS program.
